1. Killed by a mouse

The story refers back to 1875 in England, when a mouse showed off on a work table in a south London factory and got seized by a brave young man. However the mouse could shortly slip out of his hand and ran up his sleeves. Surprisingly, the man’s mouth was agape, and this made the mouse to jump in and shockingly the man swallowed the mouse!
You may have heard that a mouse can exist for a time without much air. However, this idea became unfortunately real in this story and the mouse tore and bit the poor young man’s throat and chest. As a result, the man died after a little time in a harsh pain.

2. Died by his own invention

In mid-1880s in New York town, Sam Wardell was a lamplighter who could not oversleep. Due to his job, every evening he had to light up the streetlights and make sure to wake up again at dawn and put them all out.
As Sam was a genius and creative man, he decided to connect an alarm clock, using a wire, to a catch he equipped to a shelf in his room and placed a 10lb stone on the shelf. So when the alarm hits, the shelf will fall and the stone will crash on the floor.
Wardell’s invention was working just fine and there was nothing wrong with it. One Christmas Eve, Sam invited his friend for a gathering, moved his room’s furnished to make some more space. When the guests left the party, Sam was so tired and didn’t realize where he is sleeping. The next morning, as usual, the alarm struck, the shelf fell and the stone crushed onto his inventors head.

3. Killed by a casket

Around 1872, Henry Taylor and some more people were carrying a pall through a funeral in London Kensal Green Cemetery. Suddenly he caught his feet on a stone and fell down. The rest of the people who could not handle the pall, let the casket go and it fell on Henry’s head.


4. Killed by eating her own hair

In 1869, A 30 years old patient died due to an unknown sever illness. The doctors were all confused and could not find out what was the reason of her illness. After the lady died, they got the permission to do a post-mortem. The discovered cause-of-death could never be imagined from the doctors. After they open the lady’s stomach, they found out a two pounds weighing lump made up of a human hair. Later, a sister said the dead lady, used to eat her own hair since twelve year ago.

5. Killed as a zombie

In the middle of a funeral in a Russian village, it was a horrible and unexpected happening when the lid of a casket lifted and the corpse came out. The priest and everybody were scared and ran to their houses, closing their doors and protecting themselves from the walking corpse. Suddenly, the priest found out that the angry corpse was actually a coma patient who regained his consciousness. So, he quickly tried to inform the rest of the people arming themselves with guns and stakes preparing for an exorcism, but it was too late. When the priest reached the scene, the zombie had been successfully returned to the other side and the body thrown into a marsh.

6. Torn to pieces by cats

In 1870 in Iran, there was a rich woman having an unusual but cheerful life with so many cats. As the number of her cats became more and more, her friends and contacts became less and less. People where kind of frightful to visit her. But she passing her days happily and in a agreeable if malodorous blur of purrs.
One day, her house caught on a breaking fire and trapped the cats behind a door. The woman send two maid to open the door and set the cats free, but the fire was driving the beasts crazy. Once the maid opened the door, the cats flew at the poor maids, scratching, biting and tearing them badly. The injuries were so sever and killed both of them.


7. Killed by a drunken bear

In 1891, in Russia, there was a man keeping a large bear but tame. The only bad thing about this bear was his interest for drinking vodka. One day the bear went to the village tavern and took a keg vodka. The owner of the tavern got noticed and tried to take the vodka back. This was his biggest mistake, which resulted in his death by the beast. After the tavern keeper, the bear killed his two sons and daughter too. When the villagers found the bear, it was sleeping on the group in a pool of blood and alcohol. The villagers shot the bear and killed it immediately.

8. Laughed to death

In 1893, in India, a farmer called Wesley Parsons was joking his friend with his own deadly gag and was seized by fits of uncountainable laughter and he couldn’t stop. He kept laughing for an hour and started hiccupping. In two hours he died from weariness.
